Print Recommendations (DIY Guide)
To ensure optimal scanning and a professional look for your InventarQR WMS labels, it is essential to follow specific technical settings during the printing process.
1. Recommended Materials for Warehouses
- A standard printer (laser or inkjet) or an industrial thermal one.
- PVC or Polypropylene Sticker (recommended): For maximum durability in a warehouse environment (scratch, dust, and water resistance), we highly recommend printing on plastic materials, not simple paper.
- Pre-cut A4 sticker sheets (Kiss-Cut technology) for extremely fast application.
2. Dashboard Generation & Print Settings
Printing is done directly from your account. Access the "Generate & Print Codes" tab in your Dashboard and choose the desired format (Standard 50x50mm or Pallet 100x100mm).
⚠️ Attention for large batches (Pro Pack): If you generate a PDF file with over 400 codes at once, please wait up to 15 seconds after clicking the generate button. The system needs this time to render all graphic elements at maximum resolution (300 DPI) before opening the file.
When opening the PDF document and initiating the print command (CTRL+P / CMD+P), please ensure the following configuration:
- Paper Size: A4
- Scale (CRITICAL): Set to 100% or Actual Size.
⚠️ DO NOT select "Fit to page" or "Scale to fit", otherwise the codes will be distorted and unscannable! - Margins: Set to None or Default.
- Color Mode: Black and White. Maximum contrast (black on white) is required for industrial laser scanners and phone cameras.
3. Application on boxes and pallets
Ensure the surface (cardboard, pallet wrap, plastic) is clean and dry. Stick the label in a visible area, easily accessible for employees (pickers) scanning goods on the go.
Process complete! The codes are already mapped in your WMS system and ready to receive stock.
